Back strengthening exercises are a necessity in finding relief for lower spine discomfort.

Exercises #1
In the high cable row exercise, you'll want to secure a resistance band slightly higher than eye level.
Stand in a comfortable position with your knees slightly bent.
You'll exhale as you pull the handles toward your chest, making sure to draw your elbows back and your shoulder blades together.
Inhale as you return your hands to the starting position.
Exercise #2
The cable reverse fly is a combination back exercise and shoulder exercise (rear deltoids).
To perform this exercise, you'll want to stand tall, with a slight bend in your knees.
Cross your arms to grab the cables. Keeping a slight bend in the elbows, exhale as you bring your arms from the crossed position to your reaching position.
Your hands should finish at the same height as your shoulders. Be careful not to shrug your shoulders as you perform this exercise.
Exercise #3
The back extension exercise is popular, safe, and easy to do in the comfort of your home or in the gym.
To perform this exercise, lie flat on your stomach with your hands either beside your body or on your lower back.
If you are new to this, you'll want to keep your feet on the ground and exhale as you lift your upper body from the ground.
Remember to keep your neck in a comfortable position as you lift and during your return to the ground.
