Burning Calories with My Personal Trainer School

The Burning Calories Boot Camp: Registration is Open!!

Program Description: This class has been designed for exercise enthusiasts of all ages and all skill levels. Each hour-long workout will include a mixture of the following:

  • Warm-up
  • Core Strengthening
  • Injury Prevention Exercises
  • Combined Upper and Lower Body Exercises
  • Balance and Coordination Drills
  • Heart Rate Conditioning
  • Endurance, Strength, and Stamina Development
  • Cool Down
  • Stretching
  • and a lot of fun!!! :)

Multi-level: Each exercise that we show will have several levels or progressions. The instructor will help you choose the safest and most effective one for you.

This is the type of class where I would feel comfortable taking a novice and having him or her do all of the Level 1 exercises and knowing that she would have a safe and fun workout.

And, in the same class, I could take a group of experienced Personal Trainers, have them do all Level 3 exercises with complete confidence that they will be challenged and have a great time.

After a short time, I have already noticed a difference! I have never really had tone and definition before, and now I'm beginning to see it!

Each day brings a new and engaging set of activities that work the whole body in a balanced way. Most of the exercises are new to me and many of them involve different props, which keeps the workout interesting! Boh makes the workouts challenging, but he is very positive, supportive and easy to work with. I truly look forward to our 7 AM meetings, and I thought I would be dragging myself out of bed!

Progressive: Since the same group will be meeting for each of the classes, we can make the class a little bit more difficult each time. That way, we can keep challenging your body to get the "looking in the mirror changes" that you want!!!

What to Bring: Since the class will be meeting rain or shine, you will want to dress appropriately. Here's a checklist of things you may want to have with you:

  • Sneakers - Appropriate footwear is important for protecting yourself from injury and/or discomfort.
  • Layers - It's a good idea to bring a sweatshirt or sweatpants with a t-shirt and shorts underneath.
  • An Exercise Mat or Beach Towel - For some of the exercises we do, you'll be lying down. If you don't want to get too dirty, then make sure you bring a mat or large towel.
  • A Water Bottle - You'll be sweating and it is important to stay hydrated!!!
  • A Breakfast Bar or Snack - It's always a good idea to keep something quick to snack on in the car just in case you feel light-headed or dizzy. Remember, you've got to have fuel in the tank to get to your destination!
  • A Change of Clothes - You may want an extra pair of sweats, just to protect the interior of your car from any dirt or sweat after your workout!

Classes Offered in Watertown, MA

  • Days: Monday - Friday
  • Times: 9:30am - 10:30am / 6pm - 7pm (beginning April 1, 2011)
  • Location: Moxley Park/Playground at the interstection of Bemis St. and Westminster Avenue in Watertown, MA
  • Cancellations: Class will be held rain or shine, except in the event of lightning. Any cancellation for such reason will be posted on the main page of our website a minimum of an hour ahead of the scheduled start time.
