Pimp My Workout

Here is my history....

I am a 47 year old african american male 5'9" 220 lbs type 2 diabetes.

I work out 5 times a week 6 if i work on saturday.

Most of my workouts consist of 15-20 min cardio on the bike, treadmill or elliptical.

I end each workout with 50 stomach crunches.

Despite this regime i have gained 6-10 lbs since october.

I would like to incorporate cardio, weights, and swimming once a week to add variety.....I'm open for suggestions.

It would be helpful to know if caloric intake increased with exercise.

If you exercise more, but eat more as well, you will gain weight.
